Coralie Vogelaar is a transdisciplinary artist. She researches the relation between man and machine by applying machine logic to human bodies and vice versa.

Coralie: "Computers are mirrors of ourselves, I think. We are designing those systems according to our point of view. If you look at technology, you're actually looking at yourself in a way."

In this podcast, we talk about her facial recognition project. "I often start with a computer vision tool that I find interesting. In this case, it was emotion recognition software. I didn't have a research question beforehand. I just had the tool and then I started experimenting."
